The Wembley Whackers Golf club has been playing golf every Thursday afternoon since 1954. A club that has a limited (max 50) membership it holds comradery as important as the game of golf. Making fun of other players is a key skill, hitting the fairway is secondary.
Golf is played 12 months of the year and is split into the main Winter season and then the more relaxed Summer season. After each game refreshments are taken at the Wembley Hotel where the winners are acknowledged.
