(May 1954) Moved Wright seconded Stenberg that by a suggestion of G. Woodhead the club be named The Wembley Whackers.
(1991) Moved B. Woods seconded G. McPhee that the Club be incorporated under the name of Wembley Whackers 1954 (inc).
(Oct 1959) Moved Scott seconded C. Donaldson that the appreciation of all members be placed on record of the generosity and Club Spirit of Messrs R. Evens and E. McDonald in donating the ANNUAL CUP TROPHY (a stroke event) first played October 29th 1959. Won by W.E. BODY – 63 Strokes.
(1962) The GONG used by the President to call the meeting to order was presented to the Club by ROD EVANS in his first year as President. It was purchased in Penang.
(WHACKERS CUP & HONOUR BOARD 1972) Moved S. Gundry seconded G. McPhee that a shield be purchased to record the names of the PRESIDENT, CAPTAIN, SECRETARY and PATRONS.
(May 1975) Moved A. Todd seconded R. Evans that OSSIE GALLON be appointed HONORARY PROFESSIONAL of the WEMBLEY WHACKERS.
(The BELL 1976) Moved T. Scally seconded G. Hillin that the Club purchase a BELL, inscribed it and hang it in the Tavern. The wording on the BELL is “WEMBLEY WHACKERS GOLF CLUB” and around the rim is “Formed 1954”. The wording on the board is “THE WHACKERS BELL. RING THE BELL AND BUY FOR THE BAR”.
(N.A.G.A. CUP 1977) The N.A.G.A. CUP was presented to the Club by JOHN MOTT in October 1977 to be awarded to the player who comes LAST each week. Certain conditions were applied to the Weekly and Annual presentation. The first WINNER was RUSS NOVELL on the 6th October 1977 with 17 points off a 36 Handicap. NOT A GOLFERS ARSE!
(April 1980 THE BOOKIE) Moved D. Firmin seconded D. Delaney that HORRIE MARSHALL shall be appointed the official BOOKIE of the CLUB.
(Whackers Cup 1993) Moved B. Woods seconded G. McPhee that the Club purchase the TROPHY for the WINNER of the WHACKERS CUP Event.
(HOLE IN ONE 1986) Moved B. Cusack seconded R. Featherby that the CLUB purchase a board to record all past and future GOLFERS who have the good fortune to score a HOLE IN ONE while playing in a WHACKERS Event.
